The University of Porto has created, in collaboration with the Teatro Nacional São João, an optional curricular activity that is aimed at familiarising its students with the theatrical experience. Between March and May, the students will accompany the various stages in the creation of a show, by taking part in rehearsals, reading and studying the dramatic text, visiting the stage and backstage areas, enjoying the final production and finally analysing it in a masterclass. Open to the students of all U.Porto Schools, this activity showcases the valencies of the theatre as a place of theoretical-practical learning, while fostering linguistic, literary, scientific, social and ethical skills.
