In these 3-hour sessions, which will take place in a rehearsal room of the Theatre or School, basic and secondary students dramatise a theatre play or some other text included in their study programme and the National Reading Plan. Adolfo Coelho’s Contos Populares Portugueses (2nd grade), António Torrado’s Teatro às Três Pancadas, Manuel António Pina’s Os Piratas (6th grade) or António Gedeão’s Breve História da Lua (8th grade), Gil Vicente’s A Farsa de Inês Pereira (10th grade), Almeida Garrett’s Frei Luís de Sousa (11th grade), José Saramago’s O Ano da Morte de Ricardo Reis and Memorial do Convento (12th grade), are examples of texts to be dramatised. Besides presential sessions, these Dramatised Readings can be done online, thus allowing its fruition to schools geographically distant.
