Description
The 45th FITEI – International Theatre Festival of Iberian Expression invites us to “imagine the future”. Dragón, a creation of Chilean playwright Guillermo Calderón, draws inspiration from the artistic crisis that followed Mateluna, his previous play. The members of Dragón, a theatrical collective, get together to plan their next project, but internal conflict blossoms into a dilemma. Anti-immigrant violence in Chile provides a launchpad for a show that is described by Calderón as a new beginning: “I sought a new sense of humour, a renewed concept of comedy”.
