Description
The April concert of MUSIC4L-MENTE, the cycle interweaving music and the neurosciences, marks the first appearance on a Portuguese stage of the young Cosmos quartet. Formed in 2014 and based in Barcelona, it has since been pursuing an illustrious international career. In the words of Alfred Brendel: “Here is an ensemble with an individual sound and a musical output worthy of all our attention and support.” Maria Majno’s scientific prelude discusses the quick evolution and growing importance of music-related gender studies.
