The shows that make up the 32nd Porto International Puppet Festival (FIMP) rethink the art of puppetry while contemplating our role in the world. On the other hand, the Alma d’Arame company presents O Que o Mundo Precisa é de uma Deusa, a co-production with Companhia João Garcia Miguel. João Garcia Miguel is the author of the play’s text, based on Aristophanes’ Lysistrata and on the question: “Is sex a weapon?” Exploring a hallucinatory poetics between dreams and reality, this performance art-inspired creation uses imagination as a means to search for a new awareness.
