The advantages of being a TNSJ Friend have been increased in this new year: now they include a discount on the purchase of tickets after buying four of them. Becoming a Friend is a simple and free process that offers to regular patrons of our three homes – TNSJ, TeCA and São Bento da Vitória Monastery – a number of advantages, both in terms of buying tickets for our shows, receiving information about our programmes and having access to special events, such as open rehearsals or backstage tours.

You can ask for your entry form at our box offices (TNSJ and TeCA), by calling 800 10 86 75 (free call from any network) or by e-mailing bilheteira@tnsj.pt.

Features of the TNSJ Friend Card • Free (you can get it while purchasing a ticket to a TNSJ show); • Valid for one year (counted from its issue date) and automatically renewed every year; • Personal and non-transferable.

Benefits • 60% discount on the purchase of two tickets for a show of your choice, once you have purchased four tickets (this benefit is valid for a period of one year, counted from the first ticket’s date of purchase); • Receive regular information about TNSJ events, via regular mail or e-mail; • Invitations to open rehearsals; • Invitations to parallel activities: talks with creators, guided backstage tours; • Receive at home tickets who have been booked via the Internet or phone and paid with a cheque, provided booking and payment took place at least one week before the day of the show in question; • Collect your booked tickets (no later than one hour before the start of the show) at a specially appointed booth in the TNSJ box offices; • 10% discount on the purchase of TNSJ products sold at the Theatre Shop; • Discounts on the purchase of goods and services from the TNSJ partners.

• The subscriptions are valid for shows held at the São João, Carlos Alberto theatres and São Bento da Vitoria Monastery until july 2024. They must be used for at least 2 shows at Teatro Carlos Alberto and/or São Bento da Vitoria Monastery.

• Each subscription must be exchanged for individual Tickets. To ensure that the show’s hour and the seat are to your satisfaction, please exchange your subscription as soon as possible, within the limits of the room’s maximum capacity.

• This campaign is not cumulative with other discounts, nor with the points system of the TNSJ Friend Card.

If, for motives beyond our control, a show is cancelled or has its date changed, tickets purchased for it will be valid for a later occasion, to be arranged with the TNSJ and TeCA ticket-offices.

Spectators may demand a refund – within a period of 60 days from the show’s expected date – only under the following conditions:

a) In the event that a show is not presented at its appointed place, day and hour;

b) In the event of the replacement of a main player, or of the show being interrupted (should that replacement or interruption be due to causes beyond our control, which occurred after the beginning of the show, there will be no refunds).

Reserved tickets must be collected within a maximum period of five days, after which they will be automatically cancelled.

Any reservations must be made and collected up to two days before the show date. Tickets purchased over the phone, paid by check, can be collected up to the time of the show at the ticket office or sent to your home (plus postage costs) up to one week before the date of the show.
