To provide a stage that builds bridges between school learning and expectations of a professional future: such is the intent of Art Schools at the TNSJ, a programme we organise every year, at the threshold of another summer recess. Choreographer Joana Providência combines a number of interdisciplinary materials – painting, photography, film and non-dramatic texts – to create, together with the Performing Arts/Actor Training course students of Universidade Lusófona, a stage production/test whose dramaturgy develops during the creation process.
